School Trips at Pembroke-CastleMany schools visit Pembroke Castle each year. Without exception, all parties are delighted with the guided tours and pupil participation. Each tour is adapted to the needs of groups of varying ages and abilities.
Why is this venue great for School Trips and Educational Visits?
The castle and its underground cavern, provide opportunities for pupils to search for primary sources of evidence, to help prove how the use of the site has changed since the Middle Stone Age. Is there first aid on site?Trained First Aiders on site. Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?There is a setting-down point at the entrance and public parking close-by with disabled spaces. Wheelchair users with assistance and those with limited mobility will be able to access the site at ground floor level where there are information panels and benches provided, including a picnic area.
